Simplex 1000 Series
The Simplex 1000 is a cylindrical pushbutton access control solution, in which you enter from the outside by using a combination and you just need to turn a knob to exit. The lock comes with 5 butons and a knob (for 5 button mechanical pushbutton cylindrical lever locks, click here for the Simplex L1000 mechanical pushbutton locks). This Simplex 1000 mechanical pushbutton lock eliminates the problems associated with managing electronic keypad and card locks such as replacing batteries, issuing magnetic stripe and proximity cards etc. The Simplex 1000 5 button combination lock has a single access code which is programmed via the keypad without removing the lock from the door.
The Simplex 1000 can be used in high traffic institutional, residential and industrial sectors. They are ideal for locations with high people flow such as data centers, employee entrances, research and development laboratories, residential apartments, dorms, and restricted areas in hospitals and airports. The lock can be easily installed in both new and retrofit applications, which have previously had another lock with a standard 2 ¾” (70 mm) long bore hole. This 5 button combination lock can be used in both indoor and outdoor locations.
The Simplex 1000 Mechanical Pushbutton Lock is offered in the following models:
1. Simplex 1000 Pushbutton access - available with key override (Simplex 1021, Simplex 1022, Simplex 1025) or without key override (Simplex 1011, Simplex 1012, Simplex 1015). The Simplex 1000 pushbutton access control lock can be converted to a Simplex 1000 privacy / lockout function lock also. The privacy function model is available with key override models only. The Simplex 1000 lockout / privacy model disables the lock from the inside so that the entry code cannot be used to gain access. Access is permitted using a key.

2. Simplex 1000 Passage function - available with key override (Simplex 1041, Simplex 1042, Simplex 1045) or without key override (Simplex 1031, Simplex 1032, Simplex 1035). This model allows entry without the use of a lock entry code. The Simplex 1000 passage function lock can be converted into a Simplex 1000 privacy / lockout function lock also. The privacy function is applicable in key override models only. The Simplex 1000 lockout / privacy model disables the lock from the inside so that the entry code cannot be used to gain access. Access is permitted using a key.
