The F53 & F5310 are independently-hung, shallow-depth floor closers designed for standard door frame installation for interior doors weighing up to 250lbs.

FEATURES

• Single Acting

• Used to conceal floor closer for independently hung doors (butt hinges, pocket pivots, etc)

• Closer does not support weight of door

• Order spring sizes 3 through 5:

- Model F5303: 36" (914mm) Door Width

- Model F5304: 42" (1067mm) Door Width

- Model F5305: 48" (1219mm) Door Width

• Auxiliary stop recommended

• Includes closer, mortised rail and arm with slider

• Maximum swing 90°

• Separate and independent valves for closing speed, latch speed and backcheck

• Floor plate standard. For threshold applications a 1/2" extended spindle is required

• Cycolac rustproof cement case

• Interchangeable spindle adapters

• Furnished with wood and machine screws

F5310 ONLY:

For use in 90° pocket door installations where closer is located in the pocket. Can only be used with F519 pocket pivots. • Specially milled spindle allows positive latch speed control

COMPLIANCE

• This closer carries a UL listing for 3-hour fire door assemblies. Fire rated hanging means required.
