Description

Townsteel ED1200 Grade 1 Surface Vertical Rod Exit Device, Non Fire Rated

Features:

  • Top and bottom vertical rod included
  • All devices are non-handed or reversible design.
  • High shock-resistant latching mechanical design for vandalism protection.
  • “A” Label (3 hr) rating on pairs of doors up to 8’ x 8’ for same or double egress.
  • All internal components are made of electro-plated corrosion-resistant alloy.

Certifications: ANSI/BHMA Grade 1, UL Listed

Application

  • All single/double doors with a mullion

Operation

  • Pressing push bar retracts top and bottom latch bolts when not dogged

Top Latch Bolt

  • 5/8" throw, stainless steel, pullman type, deadlocking

Bottom Latch Bolt

  • 5/8" throw, stainless steel, pullman type, deadlocking

Top and Bottom Latch Bolt Case

  • 4-12″ x 2-1/8″ x 1-1/2″

Top Strike

  • 108 type, dull black, 2 pieces shims included

Bottom Strike

  • 227F type, unfinished, round slide bolt
