Description

Townsteel ED1300 Grade 1 Concealed Vertical Rod Exit Device, Non Fire Rated

Features:

  • Concealed top and bottom vertical rod included
  • All devices are non-handed or reversible design.
  • High shock-resistant latching mechanical design for vandalism protection.
  • “A” Label (3 hr) rating on pairs of doors up to 8’ x 8’ for same or double egress.
  • All internal components are made of electro-plated corrosion-resistant alloy.

Certifications: ANSI/BHMA Grade 1, UL Listed

Application

  • All single/double doors with a mullion

  • Pressing push bar retracts top and bottom latch bolts when not dogged

Top Latch Bolt

  • 5/8" throw, stainless steel, pullman type, deadlocking

Bottom Latch Bolt

  • 5/8" throw, stainless steel, pullman type, deadlocking

Rod Extension

  • 1/2" square tube, available in 2' for door height over 8'

Less Bottom Rod (LBR)

  • Available for up to 8' wide x 10' high opening

Dogging

  • Flat key standard, cylinder dogging and less dogging optional

Fasteners

  • For 1-3/4" – 2-1/4" thick wood and metal door applications
