The Von Duprin QEL3549AEO is a grade 1, concealed vertical cable exit device for single and double hollow metal doors. This Von Duprin QEL3549 concealed vertical cable features quiet electric latch retraction, an alternative method to electric latch retraction which also allows remote latch retraction. The Von Duprin QEL3549 concealed vertical cable device can be used in places where low operational noise is desired, such as hospitals, theaters, libraries and museums. Latch retraction with the QEL3549 can be either momentary or for extended time periods.

This Von Duprin QEL3549 concealed vertical cable can be used in place of a vertical rod device in situations where the top latch, device centerline and bottom latch are not vertically aligned. The flexibility and slack in the cable system comes to the rescue and allows the device to function properly.
