The Von Duprin 3549AEO is a grade 1, concealed vertical cable exit device. The device is built for hollow metal single and double doors and is UL listed for panic exit hardware. The Von Duprin 3549 comes with a smooth mechanism case and fits door stiles as narrow as 2-1/8" (44 mm). The Von Duprin 3549 concealed vertical cable device is a popular choice because of the flexibility that it offers during installation. The cable system has a slack which allows the device to function properly, even if the top latch, device centerline and bottom latch are not vertically aligned.
