The Von Duprin EL35AEO-F is a fire rated, grade 1, narrow stile rim exit device featuring electric latch retraction. The Von Duprin EL35AEOF fire rim exit device with electric latch retraction enables remote unlatching. Now instead of going to the door to manually dog the exit device, you can with the flip of a switch, i.e. electronically, perform the same action as manual dogging. The remote latch retraction when activated allows free entry and exit. The latch retraction can be either momentary or for extended time periods. Since this Von Duprin EL35A is a fire rated application, electric latch retraction should be applied when under the control of an automatic fire alarm system.
