The Von Duprin QEL3348AEO is a grade 1, concealed vertical rod exit device for hollow metal single and double doors and fits door stiles as narrow as 2-1/8" (44 mm). The Von Duprin QEL3348A features quiet electric latch retraction, which is an alternative to electric latch retraction. The QEL feature is similar to ELR. Both features allow remote latch retraction. Latch retraction in both cases can be both momentary or for extended time periods. The difference is that with quiet electric latch retraction you can install this exit device in places where low operational noise is required, such as hospitals, museums, theaters and libraries.

This Von Duprin QEL3348 cvr exit device comes with a grooved mechanism case.
