The Von Duprin EL33AEO-F is a fire rated, grade 1, narrow stile rim exit device featuring electric latch retraction. The device can be installed on all types of single and double fire rated doors with mullion. The electric latch retraction feature of the Von Duprin EL33AEOF fire rim exit device adds electronic latch retraction capability to the exit device. It essentially replaces manual dogging. Now you can save time, because you do not have to pysically go to the door to manually dog and retract the latchbolt. This can be done remotely with the flip of a switch. Since this Von Duprin EL33A is a fire rated application, electric latch retraction should be applied when under the control of an automatic fire alarm system.

The Von Duprin EL33 fire rated rim exit device fits door stiles as narrow as 1 3/4" (44mm). The device comes with a grooved mechanism case. Since this is a fire rated device, dogging options are not available. But you can select from various other electrical options including request to exit, latchbolt monitoring and alarm kit.
