The CAT-AIR-REX improves accuracy of detection compared to the passive infrared by using focused active infrared to provide the most accurate detection of someone exiting a secured area. AIR-REX focuses right on the door handle solving the issues experienced with standard PIR’s: hot air, background objects, & cross traffic.
