The Command Access MRC1 series is a high quality Grade 1 chassis built to withstand years of use. The MRC1 series chassis can be used to retrofit Mortise lock chassis of various well known brands. You can install this lock with the confidence of knowing that the MRC1 carries Command Access's top tier features, options, and specifications. The MRC1 allows for field handing, and it comes with a 3 year no hassle warranty. This mortise lock retrofits any of the original manufactures series compatible trim and includes a new faceplate & strikeplate.
MODEL
MRC101 - Institutional: (fail safe) Outside and inside levers simultaneously locked (EL) electronically. Latchbolt retracted by key on either side. Switched power denies both levers to retract latchbolt.
MRC104 - Institutional: (fail secure) Outside and inside levers simultaneously unlocked (EU) electronically. Latchbolt retracted by key on either side. Switched power allows both levers to retract latchbolt.
Note
Fail Safe - Electrically Locked (EL): Fail safe products are unlocked when power is removed. Power is applied to lock the door.
Fail Secure - Electrically Unlocked (EU): Fail secure products are locked when power is removed. Power is applied to unlock the door.
SPECIFICATIONS
Voltage:
• Operating Voltage - 12 or 24VAC/DC (+or- 10%)
• Amperage - 12V = 700 mA / 24V = 350 mA
• Solenoid coil resistance - 12V = 18 Ω / 24V = 69 Ω
• Power consumption - 8 watts
• Available Fail Safe (EL) or Fail Secure (EU)
FEATURES
• Continuous duty solenoids allow for “continuously on” applications such as Fail Safe or an unlock cycle
• Plug-in bridge rectifier that allows for an AC or DC power source supplied with all locks
• Low current draw
• Handing Field Reversible
