About the ML1 Series
The Command Access ML1 series is a direct retrofit to the Schlage L9000 series mortise lock. The ML1 series utilizes a high quality Grade 1 chassis built to withstand years of use. You can install this lock with the confidence of knowing that the ML1 carries Command Access's top tier features, options, and specifications. The ML1 allows for field handing, it is field reversible (EL/EU), and it comes with a 3 year no hassle warranty. This mortise lock retrofits any Schlage L series compatible trim and may be purchase as chassis only or as a complete lockset.
The ML1480 electrified entrance with deadbolt function is an electrified Mortise lock which is a direct retrofit to the Schlage L9453 entrance w/ deadbolt Mortise lock.
ML1480 - entry w/ deadbolt: (fail safe/fail secure) Outside lever locked (EL) or unlocked (EU) electronically. Latchbolt and deadbolt retracted by key outside or lever inside. Applied power allows outside lever to retract latchbolt and deadbolt. Inside lever is always free for immediate egress.
Note
Fail Safe - Electrically Locked (EL): Fail safe products are unlocked when power is removed. Power is applied to lock the door.
Fail Secure - Electrically Unlocked (EU): Fail secure products are locked when power is removed. Power is applied to unlock the door.
