The Falcon MEL-F-25-C-EO-LBR is a grade 1 fire rated concealed vertical rod less bottom rod exit device featuring motorized electric latch retraction. The Falcon MEL-F-25-C-LBR exit device conforms to Falcon's famed quality and performance parameters and is a popular choice for installation in both low and high traffic commercial applications.

Being a fire rated device the Falcon MEL-F25C LBR concealed vertical rod less bottom rod exit device meets fire safety standards. The door remains secure under normal circumstance, but in the event of an emergency the door can be easily opened allowing safe egress.

Motorized electric latch retraction feature when activated retracts the latchbolt and allows free entry-exit. Motorized electric latch retraction is an alternative to manual dogging and essentially provides remote capability to retract the latchbolt. Latchbolt retraction can be either for short time periods or for extended time periods. The Falcon 25 fire cvr lbr featuring motorized electric latch retraction being a fire rated device must be self latching. Therefore an automatic fire alarm system must be incorporated to drop power to the Falcon MEL-F25 fire rated concealed vertical rod less bottom rod MEL device in case of fire.
