The Von Duprin EL3527AEO-F is a grade 1, narrow stile, fire rated surface vertical rod exit device. The Von Duprin EL3527A-F fire svr is built for all types of double doors up to 8' x 10' (2438mm x 2540mm). The device features electric latch retraction, an alternative to manual dogging. With electric latch retraction, you can remotely retract the latchbolt. This saves time which would otherwise have been spent on physically going to the door to retract the latchbolt. Latch retraction can be either momentary or for extended time periods. Since the Von Duprin EL3527-F is a fire rated surface vertical rod device, electric latch retraction may be applied to this fire-rated application when under the control of an automatic fire alarm system.
