The Von Duprin EL3548AEO is a grade 1, concealed vertical rod exit device device featuring electric latch retraction. This high quality, heavy duty and performance oriented exit device is a popular choice for high traffic applications. Electric latch retraction lets you remotely retract a latchbolt. Latch retraction can be either momentary or for extended time periods. This is a very useful feature, because now you do not have to go to physically go to the door to retract the latchbolt.
