The Von Duprin QEL3327AEO-F is a grade 1, fire rated, narrow stile surface vertical rod exit device. The Von Duprin QEL3327A-F fire svr is built for all types of double doors up to 8' x 10' (2438mm x 2540mm), and fits door stiles as narrow as 2-3/16" (56 mm). This 3327 fire surface vertical rod device has a grooved mechanism case.

The quiet electric latch retraction feature of this Von Duprin QEL3327A-F allows you to remotely retract the latch. This feature is quieter alternative to a regular electric latch retraction feature. This allows the Von Duprin QEL3327F fire svr to be used in places where ambient noise can be considered disruptive such as hospitals, libraries, museums and theaters. Latch retraction can be either momentary or for extended time periods. But since this is a fire rated device, the QEL must be paired with an automatic operator and under the control of an automatic fire alarm system.
