The Von Duprin QEL33AEO-F is a Grade 1, fire rated, narrow stile rim exit device featuring quiet electric latch retraction. The Von Duprin 33A fire rim exit device with qel fits door stiles as narrow as 1 3/4" (44mm). The Von Duprin 33 fire rim narrow stile exit device comes with a grooved mechanism case.

The quiet electric latch retraction feature of the Von Duprin QEL33A fire rim exit device is preferred to be used in places where low operational noise is desired. This includes such places like hospitals, libraries, museums and theaters. The quiet electric latch retraction feature adds electric capability to the fire rated Von Duprin 33AEO rim exit device. When activated, the quiet electric latch retraction retracts the latchbolt, similar to dogging. Latchbolt retraction can be either momentary or for extended time periods.
